Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

  • The CFO models the mission, vision, and values of the Agency in all interactions.
  • The CFO supervises the fiscal staff, is part of Senior Leadership, and supports the Executive Director in the strategic operations of the Agency and meeting the Vision in a team environment.
  • The CFO is responsible for the effective oversight and management of financial operations including payroll, billing, receivables, payables, asset oversight, insurance, reporting, benefits, ACA, retirement plan, budgeting, audits, contract compliance.
  • Exempt position; 40 hours per week; full benefits.
  • Starting wage: $55,000-$70,000 annually depending on experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; 5 years related accounting experience, and 3 years supervisory experience required. Non-profit accounting a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and complex thinking skills. Demonstrated communication and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of required fiscal reporting including 941, 990, ACA, unemployment, W-2, W-4, 1099, non-profit state reporting,
  • Computer proficient including Excel, MS Office, accounting software. Great Plains experience a plus.
  • Ability to develop policies and procedures, do trend analysis, identify gaps and needed solutions. Willingness to learn the Disability Waiver Rate System (DWRS) as an MHCP provider.
  • Comfort working with people with disabilities.

Administrative Coordinator

Job Summary

  • The Administrative Coordinator models the mission, vision, and values of the Agency in all interactions.  The Administrative Coordinator provides support to the Executive Director in meeting minutes, assists with Board and Agency events, and develops required Agency and State reports and communications.
  • The Administrative Coordinator supports the Development Director in data entry and communications with donors and potential donors including year-end giving reports and other reports. The position may also provide support for Division Directors as needed in data entry to assure rates and billings are accurate.

Skill Development Coach

Job Summary

  • The role of the Skill Development Coach position is to support participants who are fully integrated in the community with job skill development, work activities, to assist participants with achieving their desired outcomes, and developing reciprocal relationships within their community.
  • Responsible for driving multiple agency vehicles to provide transportation as needed. (training provided)
  • Facilitate and assist the participants, guardian and team in planning services and supports to be received from PossAbilities. Including scheduling and participation for new admissions, 45 day reviews, annual reviews and other intra- and inter- agency meetings.
  • Assist participants with their meals and personal care.
  • This is a full time position, primarily day hours Monday-Friday.

Youth Recreation Activity Assistant–Part Time

(Ideal position for college students)

Job Summary

  • Assist youth with disabilities in various after school recreational activities at the Rochester YMCA.
  • Willingness to transport participants using own vehicle. (Mileage reimbursed).
  • Part time position during school year; 10-15 hours per week.
  • Starting wage: $11.25 per hour.
  • Training is provided.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable with strong communication skills.
  • Valid, non-provisional driver’s license (must have had a driver’s license for over 1 year or be over the age of 18).
  • Must have a clean driving record and have reliable vehicle available for transporting youth.
  • Pass a background check.

PossAbilities partners with area businesses who need an individual or a group of employees to fulfill crucial staffing need to complete specific functions such as: retail services, administrative support, indoor and outdoor janitorial services, vehicle detailing, linen services, and many others.
