Employment Service Coordinator 

Job Summary

  • Coordinate communication with participant teams, case managers, residences and guardians
  • Maintain participant file documentation, annual meeting paperwork and goal tracking
  • Job coach participants on job skills and employment sites
  • Provide direct support for individuals and groups and provide transportation. Training provided.
  • Full-time; variable hours weekdays between 7:00am-8:00pm; benefits available
  • Starting wage: $12.43-$14.00 DOQ

  • Implements donor development plan and grant and foundation requests
  • Leads donor development activities with Board members and Senior Leadership
  • Collaborates closely with Marketing & Development Coordinator

Youth Services Program Coordinator

 

Job Summary

  • Model the agency’s mission, vision and values. Member of agency’s Management Team.
  • Work with young adult staff to provide recreational and socialization opportunities for children and youth with disabilities in integrated community settings. After school and summer programming.
  • Assure participant program plans & goals are implemented. Responsible for program design & assist with budgeting. Coordinate communication, reporting, goal tracking and parent meetings.
  • 40 hours per week, hours can vary between 8am to 5:30pm weekdays only.
  • Starting wage is $17.04-$19.55 (depending on qualifications).

Youth Recreation Activity Assistant–Part Time

(Ideal position for college students)

Job Summary

  • Assist youth with disabilities in various after school recreational activities at the Rochester YMCA.
  • Willingness to transport participants using own vehicle. (Mileage reimbursed).
  • Part time position during school year; 10-15 hours per week.
  • Starting wage: $11.25 per hour.
  • Training is provided.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable with strong communication skills.
  • Valid, non-provisional driver’s license (must have had a driver’s license for over 1 year or be over the age of 18).
  • Must have a clean driving record and have reliable vehicle available for transporting youth.

Job Summary

  • The role of Employment Specialist PWoW position is to support participants who are fully integrated in the community with job skill development, work activities, to assist participants with achieving their desired outcomes, and developing reciprocal relationships within their community.
  • Responsible for driving multiple agency vehicles to provide transportation as needed.  Training provided.
  • Facilitate and assist the participants, guardian and team in planning services and supports to be received from PossAbilities.  Including scheduling and participation for new admissions, 45 day reviews, annual reviews and other intra- and inter – agency meetings.
  • Assist participants with their meals and personal care.
  • Full time, primarily day hours Monday-Friday
  • Starting wage: $12.43-$13.59 (depending on qualifications)

PossAbilities partners with area businesses who need an individual or a group of employees to fulfill crucial staffing need to complete specific functions such as: retail services, administrative support, indoor and outdoor janitorial services, vehicle detailing, linen services, and many others. This program gives our participants an opportunity to develop work ethic while working in different areas and develop relationships with employers.
