Community Transportation Services

Transportation links us all to our communities and to life. The basic components are the same for everyone: we all have places to go for which we need to arrive safely and on time.

PossAbilities of Southern MN – in partnership with the City of Rochester Transit Division and the Olmsted County Developmental Disabilities Unit – received a one-year grant from the Minnesota Department of Transportation to increase ridership on public transportation through the use of individualized and group training.

While the 2009 grant focuses specifically on people with developmental disabilities, the longer-term focus is on use of public transit throughout the varied populations within Olmsted County.
