Volunteering at PossAbilities

Are you looking to add meaning to your life through volunteerism? Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets as we integrate children and adults with disabilities into everyday life in Rochester and surrounding communities. Opportunities for volunteerism are generally available Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Volunteers join us weekly, monthly or on an as-scheduled basis.

You could:

• Share a musical talent or favorite hobby
• Play bingo
• Participate in a community activity
• Plant a garden
• Shoot hoops
• Tie dye t-shirts
• Enjoy a meal
• Go bowling, scrapbooking or to the park
• Be part of a book group

Volunteers also help with our PossAbilities events and fundraisers. They serve on our planning committees and assist during the events, which are typically held on evenings and weekends.

• Classic Car Raffle, August 2013 (date TBA)
• Employment Awards Banquet, October 2, 2013
