- Our History:

PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing meaningful work and community opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota has been serving individuals and families for 50 years.  Since our inception as the DAC, Developmental Achievement Center, and Day Activity Center our name has changed but not our mission of Supporting Individuals With Disabilities as Active Community Participants. We have gone full circle from serving children to adults and now we serve all ages through our variety of programming.  Look for more exciting changes as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2011.

As a non-profit United Way agency we support individuals with developmental disabilities at six sites by providing: work and social opportunities, career planning and job coaching, activities for senior citizens, individualized life planning, life enrichment skills, leisure programs, in-home support, employer of record services, youth recreation programs, senior services, and Alzheimer's and dementia programs.
